Specification Management
HAI*QPM is a configurable product specification management system for process industries, to manage
- all product specifications (e.g. raw materials, intermediate and finished products, packaging materials, …), and
- processing conditions (process settings vs. actuals, operating procedures, cleaning procedures, quality assurance procedures, etc.).
 
It stores all specifications in a single, controlled data repository, and includes functionality for versioning, access rights and audit trails for all product-related information (i.e. product characteristics, quality standards, production methods, etc.).

Non-conformance management: Who’s afraid of yellow and red?
Test-results and process conditions are matched automatically against their specifications:
- in-spec values will be show in “green”, and
- out-of-spec values will immediately show-up in yellow or red.
This ensures early detection of any non-conformance during the production process.

How well do you meet your specifications?
HAI*QPM allows for ready-to-use statistics and analysis to define to what extent you are able to meet your specifications in your production process (product and process capability study).

If you perform very well and your test-results are rarely out-of-spec you may decide to decrease your sampling frequency for this particular test (test results which are rarely out of spec need no frequent sampling), saving time and money.

If it turns out that you do not sufficiently meet your specifications for a certain variable, you may decide to
- adjust the specifications in line with a proposal calculated by HAI*QPM
- adjust your process to improve your ability to meet these specifications.
